5-Minute Film Challenge 2008 was such a success, it has made a rather more rapid reapearance than last time. The next 5-Minute Film Challenge will be held in 15th of August 2009 at the Red Lion Pub in Kings Heath. From 20:00 until 23:55 This means that any of you super-talented creatives who want to submit their masterworks for the delictation of others, have around 3 months to lovingly hand-craft a fine piece of work. As with last year all entrants get a prize medal. A slight deviation from previous years is that there will be an entrance fee for anyone attending and not submitting a film (to help me cover the cost and encourage you to make something). The entrace fee will be £4 on the door. If you are intending to submit a film please let me know at least a fortnight in advance so I can put together the running order for the event, and obtain sufficient prizes.
The science bit: Any format is welcomed - just try and keep it to five minutes or under and we'd really like all films submitted at least a week before the event to make sure that we can convert them all to digital video ready to play on the night. At the moment we cannot accept high definition films as we have no means of playing them on the big screen. |
